 Monarch’s Message

Well Prophets, summer vacation is almost over and that means back to business. Nazir however did not rest. There were Steak Fry's, breakfasts and other activities.

I will take time to thank all the Prophets and ladies for there help this summer in keeping the Grotto running smoothly. Activities are planned so keep an eye on the Trestle Board.

Membership is our first priority at Nazir Grotto. It will take a lot of work finding new members. We should try our lodges first. Make a visit there to secure a candidate.

I recently was appointed by the Grand Monarch as Supreme Council District Deputy and my Grottoes are: Nazir, Aut Mori, Yusef Khan and Ali Baba. I look forward to visiting these Grottoes and attending some of their functions.

I am trying to heal from a bad case of poison ivy I picked up. I really would like to thank all the ladies who have been helping the Prophets with so much at the Grotto. I do not know what we would do without you. Thanks again. Let’s not forget to watch the Bulletin for dates of the dinners and “Steak Fry’s”, and don’t forget the Saturday Morning Breakfasts. See you at Grotto!

My summer has been a bit tied up since my heart surgery so I ask “Slip” to help me out. So if there are mistakes in this article, tell “Slip.” I would like to thank everyone for their phone calls and cards. I’m looking forward to returning to Nazir  soon. Thanks ladies and Prophets for taking care of things while I was gone. See you soon.

Sick and Visitation

Gary Gruber underwent heart by-pass surgery in July and is still on the mend but in good spirits. Joe Argyle is still recuperating at home after an accident, we miss you Joe. Get well soon! We also lost a good friend. Ron Taylor passed in August and will be missed by all.
