Grand Chapter was held in Dayton, Ohio, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, September 25^th, 26^th, 27^th, and 28^th. We learned a lot and those who were able to attend had a great time. Our own Trevor Sproul was Master of Ceremonies at the Grand Banquet on Saturday evening. Representatives were there from all the youth groups and it was interesting to hear what they had to say.

A get well card was sent to Liz Taylor who was in the hospital in Kentucky. We hope she is feeling much better by now.

A sympathy card was sent to Eric and Heather Norris on the death of Eric’s grandfather. Our sympathy goes out to the Norris family.

Due to the School of Instruction being held on November 8^th, we will be having two meetings in October, rather than one. At the time the September bulletin was written, I said we had only 3 meetings, which would be short form, till the end of our term. Since there will now be four meetings, one was in September, two in October and one in November, we had another long form opening meeting in September, to complete the rules for long and short forms.

Grand Chapter will be held in Dayton, Ohio on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, September 25^th, 26^th, 27^th and 28^th, 2014.

We had a wonderful picnic at Pat and Al Slater’s farm in July. Al was the chief griller. There was lots of good food and we all had fun playing Bingo after dinner. Even the weather cooperated and all who attended had a good time.

We hope everyone had a wonderful summer and are refreshed and ready to return to our fall meetings. It will be great to see everyone again.

A card was sent to congratulate Jamey and Ashley Groetz on the birth of their new baby girl, Julia Rose. She was also welcomed into this world by her brother and two sisters, Jay, Justine and Jessica on May 23^rd, 2014.

Congratulations were also sent to Marc Shefelton on his graduation from seminary which was sponsored by Delta Chapter through ESTARL.

Sympathy cards were sent to Paul Feaser on the death of his father; also to the family’s of Janet Hill and Gladys Tripplett, due to the death of her husband.

Get well cards were sent to Carolyn Herrick who is recuperating from a back injury and also to Larry Kerns (Past Grand Matron’s husband who served with Trevor Sproul;) who had surgery; also to Dawn Thomas for her surgery; to Heather Norris who has been ill; and also to Diane Phillips who was in the hospital.

If you have not already done so, please see that Pat Slatzer receives your 2014-15 dues. They are $35.00 and must be paid by October 1, 2014.

There are only three meetings left in our term and they will all be “short form” openings. We saved them until the end so it would be easier to have all our memorization work done by June.

Johnnie and I are looking forward to seeing all of you again at our September Stated Meeting.
